He's supposed to have a performance near where I am, but I didn't enjoy any of this. I kinda liked the parts where he was bowing the tam-tam/gong (I can't tell), but other than that, this was all just a bunch of noise.

That was a displeasing lack of a solo, but it could pass for disturbing sound effects. He really could have made far better noise with what he had, but the lack of anything musical ruins it.

None of that really hurts the instruments, but at the part were he accidentally knocked his snare over might have damaged it! lol

Yes I heard & stared awestruck at him the other week in L.A. Free improv does not record very well and I have not heard the power of a gong come through on a recording yet. Also I did not say, 'Please don't edit'. : )
