@ItCameFromTheSkyBeLo This time machine that you speak of, is that the same one the CSI's use to go back in time when a crime is committed? No. They use evidence to solve a crime that happened hours, days, months or years ago.DNA, fossil records, etc. Looking at bad design in nature, leads me to the conclusion there is no creator.Why do koalas have an upside down pouch?Why do rabbits have to eat there own fecies? Why is our respiratory & digestive systems tied together so we can choke to death?

@angrygrunt I never believe and except anything just because someone tells me its a fact. Or because its what everybody believes. I intend on truth only, and when it can't be had, I settle with the possibilities and leave it at that.

@angrygrunt Evidence =/= fact. Science sets out to logically explain something through observation and study. My definition of Theory is exactly what you described it as. That is why calling Evolution a fact and just excepting it is blatant close mindedness and arrogance. There may be evidence that links one bit to another but the Theory of evolution still has TREMENDOUS holes in it. Evolution can't be "proven" with out a time machine to go back and see if that is how it happened.

@ItCameFromTheSkyBeLo there is a ton of evidence for evolution, it's overwhelming. no matter how much more evidence comes to light to back it up, it will still be a theory because it could theoretically be proven wrong. your definition of the word 'theory' seems to differ from the scientific one. gravity is also 'just a theory'. teaching it as theory would confuse kids into thinking what you seem to believe, that it's just some unproven speculation. it has been proven many times over.

@angrygrunt No Its not. You've been spoon fed that it is all your life. But there is not Factual evidence that its the way things happened. Its Just a theory. Calling it a fact is betraying science.
