  • my dad says the new os you know, this one, takes up the whole 8gb memory card and deletes some personal data. is it really like that? and do you have to pay for it like on the iPhone?

  • i think you can run the update off the memory card if you do over the air upgrade, but it should remove it self after the upgrade. you can back up all your data on a computer and replace after the upgrade.

  • Are you having problems with battery life? My battery life has cut down to half of what it was before the update :( My battery lasts like 4 hours now. It's absurd!

  • my battery life is good, i just charge at night and i can make it the whole day. but i dont do alot of talking, i text and surf the net.

  • what about app world

  • i dont use app world, i just get most of my apps from crackberry

  • Your dad is completely wrong. It doesnt even touch the memory card.

  • the MP3 files u dropped in are now in the music folder..just go to music highlight a song and press the menu button it should say "set as ringtone"

  • hey i was wondering on how much your bill run a month ?I want to get the storm but i want to keep the price down ?

    thankss

  • in OPTIONS go to MOBILE NETWORK and change the NETWORK to 1XEV...I suggest you go to your local Verizon Wireless store and leave it there for 2-3 hours so they can test it out with a NEW BAttery or possibly replace your Phone.

  • I just updated, but whenever I put MP3's in my ringtones folder, they do NOT show up anymore in RINGTONES via the Media Menu. Anyone else with this problem? I did a battery pull and nothing.

  • Thanks for the advice Cameren. Where do I check for that though? I navigated through the whole options menu and couldn't find it. I'm sure it's in there somewhere, but I failed to see it. Oh! and here's a crazy thing. I think my battery drains even when the phone is off! I went to the movies last night and had 20% battery left. I turned it off in case i needed to make a phone call later. Turned it back on after the flick. The batt was TOTALLY dead. weird huh?

  • mabey ur gsm networking is on if u turn that off it will save a whole bunch of battery life
