Playing with Mixxx (Free DJ Program)

READ ME PLEASE!! This is just a random video of me using Mixxx on my free time. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD MIXXX FOR WINDOWS, MAC, OR LINUX @ WWW.MIXXX.ORG/

I'm not the best at using mixxx (Its obvious because I didn't transfer from song to song very smoothly) and although I'm a beginner with this stuff, I think mixxx is fun to use and I recomend you try mixxx if you want to get into this kind of stuff! Its easy to get the basic hang of it!

HOW DO YOU START BOTH CHANNELS SIMULTANEOUSLY?!?!?!? THERE IS NO WAY TO START BOTH CHANNELS UP AT ONCE AND LISTEN TO ANY OF THE BEAT YOUVE MATCHED YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO START ONE THEN TRY TO GUESS WHEN TO START THE OTHER

@xLrelapse112 Thats becuase you need a soundcard thats able to run 4-channels.. most sound cards run two, which will play what you listen on headphone through the same output as the music thats playing.

@fizzey9898 Mixxx is safe, if it wasn't I wouldn't recommend it on youtube. Mixxx is safe.

@Kbd2996 I don't know about recording your own vocals, but you can use FL Studios to make your own beats.

@TheCoachmaxwell You need to transfer the .wav file into an mp3. I use a free program called "Switch." Very, very simple. I have a Mac though, but it's likely available for PC..

Not to complicate things but I also use Audacity software, which Mixx recommends anyway, to truncate the beginning of the finished mix, bc there's a few seconds of garbage to get rid of. EXPORT the edited Audacity file as a .wav THEN use Switch. It's ready for iTunes and iPod and you can add your own artwork
