Fireworks in Venice, Italy, Redentore Festival, July 18, 2009

Unlike most firework displays in the US, which have one deploying point source, the Redentore is deployed on a huge floating bridge spanning from Zattere to the Giudecca Island. Because of this very long deploying source, the fireworks of the Redentore seem to fill the whole sky.

Sorry for the VERY LONG delay. I was on the top (5th) floor in an apartment near the Accademia Bridge, staying with friends. I agree, the view was amazing and perfect for Redentore.
