Zodiac Blue GTR-XU1 Startup & Idle

An LJ 1972 Holden Torana GTR-XU1 startup from inside car and then Engine Bay and around the car whilst Idling. They have a nice exhaust note that compliments its classic 70's shape. Another Classic Aussie Muscle car that turns 35 years old this year and still going strong.

Thanks for the comments, and I know how you feel, having had my car stolen years ago it was a great pleasure to have it back again. I have just completed rebuilding the engine, Dyno tested at 185KW at 7200rpm, and running in excess of 8200rpm without an issue. New HD video's will be posted in the coming months. @hiptoeknee , Thanks for the comments, really appreciated. Yes I still own the car, and just about to finish the restoration of an LX SS Hatch, which I'll feature in another vieo this year. The XU1 was just photo for Motor Trend Classic car magazine in the USA, and I cant wait to see the photos. I drove the car just two weeks ago, and its really going well. Thanks Tin701, the sound of the carbs at idle is hissing, but when you open them up, it's a real rush. You've got to be careful that the carbs don't lean out at all, as the carbs can back-fire like a bomb going off. Thanks for the comment. Wayne.
