  • @karatewoman007 wow you've been through a lot! TO help get your core tight without bothering your neck and shoulder I recommend stability ball work. It;s great for targeting your core but takes the pressure off your shoulders since you're not doing planks or ground based work.

  • Great video! Question - when you do the criss cross, do you keep your shoulder blades on the ground when you do it? And are the elbows supposed to stay outwards in a straight line the whole time? I find it hard to do that when I begin to bring my opposite shoulder towards my opposite knee. Thanks!

  • no, your shoulders do come off the ground during the rotation. They are more at like a 45 degree angle, not pointed forward not pointed straight out. Hope this helps!

  • Let me know what kind of exercises you're looking for and I will post them asap!

  • Thanks for the great video! :)

  • Hi, I live in New Zealand & just love this video. I'm terribly unfit (not overweight tho) & have had some pains under my right ribcage for a couple of weeks. Been to my doctor who first said I could take a lot of painkillers which helped a little, but the pain is still there. She then said I had to do some core strengthening exercises. What ones could I do where it doesn't hurt too much. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the post! I am starting a class at an all women's gym that focuses on the core. This is helpful. Maybe add spinal flexion, bridges, cobra, and mountain climbers.
