Mirjana apparition in Medjugorje, August 2, 2009

This particular video of one of Mirjana's monthly apparitions (August 2, 2009) is significant for two reasons. Like an earlier video I uploaded, Mirjana shows herself to be insensitive to the intermittent shining of the sun into her eyes. But the video is also noteworthy as it captures (at about 3 mins into the video) the reaction (clapping) of the very large crowd that was present in Medjugorje on this day (during a youth festival) to the 'miracle of the sun' that many experienced as Mirjana was having her vision. Forgive my ignorance but does Mirjana reveal what the Blessed Mother says to her?

She does indeed and a message from Our Lady is given to the people at the end of the apparition. Put 'Medjugorje' into Google and you will find all the information you need about what is happening there.

it is so "cute" when people applaud the Virgin!! like that crowd cheering for Her, it's really nice

Actually, the people are applauding the miracle of the sun which many experienced during Mirjana's apparition. This applies also at the end of the apparition. Mirjana's apparitions are normally accompanied by silence throughout the apparition, followed by prayer. But on this unique occasion, the crowd respond to what they have just witnessed in the sky.

You can notice this is truly a miraculous apparition since she does not squint or have her pupils contract / dilate when the sunshine goes into and away from her face (her right eye - which is the left side as we view it). No normal human activity could keep the eyes this way.

I`m afraid the chastisements are very near. I`ve been to Medjugore many times and it`s a struggle and process for me to get myself back on the path to God, but I`m doing it. I see alot of people so totally oblivious as to what`s going on in the world with so many signs and warnings, that it makes me sad. It`s not judging. Just open your heart to Jesus.

She is able to look straight into the sun!! That's already a Miracle itself. 10 years + 1 day after the first apparition the horrible war began.
