People , Can an1 help me out ? My mother tongue is not English so sometimes i tend not understand ironies. Whta did the host meant at 4:15 - "what did he mean by "good for you" ??

@MrSquareZNation Letterman was serious and not making any kind of joke when he said "good for you". Letterman really was saying that he is happy that Johnny had absorbed the French language well. The laughter from the audience caused the two to laugh in an awkward way, but Johnny recognized the compliment.

One of the things I want to do before I die is meet Johnny Depp. Im not a crazied obsessed fan, or whatever. I just admire this guy a lot. He is strange. I would love to meet him some day... Probally wont happen because all celebrities go through a lot of trouble to keep everything secret. Understandable since there are some nut jobs out there. I just wish there was a way I could write him a letter and know that he read it....

When he said "good for you" he was being sarcastic, he said it to point out that nobody cares if Depp can speak French, so he was kind of being a jerk. Good for you for asking by the way, most people just wouldn't bother trying to understand.
