i am not sikh, but i am dam sure dat im punjabi i speak it everyday, i can speak hindi but dont like 2, i am christian my parents r from jalandhar panjab, were u will find very little people who r not sikhs that speak hindi, in jalandhar we love 2 speak punjabi weather u r hindu, sikh, muslim or christian

somebody down here said..community other then sikhs are also punjabi..maybe true..because in punjab i find hindus and others speak hindi only..1 out of 100 speak in punjab..and that too when they have sikh to talk with ..less they interact between themselves in hindi only..this is not the case with sikhs..where ever they go they are punjabi and speak punjabi..even if there 2-3rd generation is living outside the perimeter of punjab.....
