Babson Global Outreach through Entrepreneurship (BGOE) is a non-profit that instills college students, alumni and faculty with a greater philanthropic desire, then utilizes their skills and desire to help increase self-sufficiency by effectively empowering entrepreneurs in developing countries with the education and resources necessary for launching new businesses and sustainable business models.
This video is about BGOE's Consulting Trip to Kampala, Uganda - January 4-18, 2007. For this trip, BGOE partnered with the following NGOs: "Centenary Rural Development Bank"(Largest MFI in Uganda), the Coping Society, Friends of the Poor, the Nsambya Hospital, and others. 16 Students worked with a hospital, women's home businesses, women's micro-credit, automatic peanut shellers, orphanage in an agricultural community, a hotel, assisting the elderly and those with AIDS
