@Dave90583 LOL good point -- what I dont understand is that Jesus also say we should cut off our hands and rip out our eyes if it should cause us to sin.
Yet no one dose that

there are books with testimonies about the Holy Eucharist....

The Eucharist is only a cracker
-
It is not represented by a biscuit for the people, and blood and bread, only for priests, but blood and flesh of the Lord. for all
-
But I do like the color purple here.

How often the answer becomes clear when we remember that Jesus chose a particular date to institute this celebration—the Passover. Gods people had annually been observing that date, Nisan 14 on their calendar, for over 1,500 years in order to commemorate a remarkable salvation that Jehovah performed for his people.

At any rate, Jesus could not have meant that his followers were literally to eat his flesh and drink his blood. Genesis 9:3, 4
-
For example, Jacques Dupont considered the culture and society in which Jesus lived and concluded that the most natural rendering of the verse should be: This means my body or, This represents my body.

It is true that the Greek word e•stin΄, a form of the Greek verb to be, essentially means is. But the same verb can also mean signify.
Compare Matthew 12:7: If you had known what this means [Greek, e•stin]: I want mercy and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the blameless.—CEI; Douay Version.

If you take Jesus literally when HE said the bread was his body why dont you take him literally when he says he is the ''door for the sheep'' ? John 10:7 ANSWER ME !!!!!!!!
Yeah, but Jesus never physically gave His body to be literally eaten by the disciples. It's symbolic. Just as baptism is symbolic. The eating and drinking that Jesus is talking about, has to do with believing that He died on the cross and that He shed His blood for the sins of the whole world.

At the Last supper Jesus said the same words that Catholic priests say at Mass, and at that moment the bread and wine literally become the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. So at the Last supper Jesus did literally give His body to His disciples. Jesus said "This is My Body", not this is symbolic of my body.
