there are two ways to do this:
make a fake knot
put tape on the balloon and make a whole with a needle at that point

.I saw this chap tonight on BBC's coverage of Glastonbury+I thought he was great ! Saw a guy in Brighton the other week trapped inside a giant balloon+every now+again an arm ,head or leg would poke out....he went down the promenade hopping on one leg,great fun:)) many thanks :)

@JacintaXindella actually i have this trick. u poke a tiny hole in the swallowing end, and as the balloon goes in ur mouth, the air goes out, so it just looks like ur swallowing it
