@Rishkith Thanks. Sounds like Frozen wastes is the one. We got bored with Market items in duplicate, since we usually only play 2 players. We could then afford to remove duplicates from market. But we are really at the point where we can almost predict fight outcomes without rolling the dice first. So different monsters sounds like an answer, we will have a look at a market expansion too.
About sleeves, we used to play Magic: the Gathering (before the kids came) so we have plenty sleeves.

@Rishkith Thanks! :)

@wotanson1 Same colors, you can't change them due to game mechanics.

@Rishkith But the same color?

Some more tips on which expansions to go for and which to avoid would be nice. I have the base game and me and the missus are almost at the point where we got it mastered, so I will be looking for an expansion soon..

@TazKiKr Well market expansions can nicely be used with all the Expansions, even the box ones easily. I think it is a lot of fun to add some new stuff. Other than that I would want to know specifically what you think is missing in Runebound that you want to add? Want to race to finish with different monsters and map? Then the Frozen Wastes is great. Want to just up the monster difficulty of the base game a lot? Then get Beasts and Bandits. If something else let me know!

Hi there! I have a question... I just bought Runebound + 1 expansion (Island of dread) and naturally, I want to start by playing the base game only. I was wondering though, if I could choose a hero from the expansion and play with him in the base game, only take his figure and his card and play as if he came with the base game... will that mess some things up?? or is it okay? Thanks! oh and for the cards with different backings, you could just sleeve them with all the same colored sleve =P

@T0rche You can and you should, they make the game a lot more fun! Sleeves are a good idea, but at this point I'm not playing frequently enough to invest in them.

when u replenish counters do u replace them all or just one? do you only replenish the adventure counters in the corresponding adventure deck color or do you replace all counters out that need it?

@MrBlindside05 You replenish all the "starred" ones, the ones with the special symbol around the circle. It has unfortunately been a while since I played runebound, but I'm pretty certain it is supposed to be all colors that you replace.
