@frosty9595 because its a high revving inline 4, the stock redline is 7500 on a 4ag(z)e. you can't go much higher than 200HP on a 4AGZE, but if you switch to a turbo setup (4AGTE) then you can get very serious power (+300).

yea, it only make 194hp but on a car that only is 2200lb. So that thing would hall ass. Trust me, it is exactly how mine is setup. I make 204whp and that only with a front mount intercooler, headers, full exhaust, and tunned ecu. Plus, it also depends which 4agze he has. i have the ae92 motor, which makes about 165 to the wheel stock. AE86only make 145whp and the AE101 makes 170whp

Thats not my point. My point is why bother modding an engine with such little returns in HP.
