i was born july 12 1977 and my mom had tickets to go see elvis and she beginning to have contraction with me and was never able to go see him and then he dies the next month i still feel bad about that

I remember watching this on tv with my Mother. I was 12 years old. I turned 12 on June 16 and Elvis passed on my step-dads birthday August 16, 1977. I remember crying my eyes out for days and days. My Mother kept telling me that I never knew him so why cry so much? I said because I loved him and his music and movies.
