Commercials work on basic human impulses. If someone has a car commercial that shows a guy driving down a curvy overpass with a girl in a black dress with a look in her eye while seductive music plays, it's obvious that it's playing on sex.

This plays on existing conflicts between kids and their parents. It makes it to where, if you don't have eggo waffles, it's your parents' faults.  They are your enemy in waffly matters. So you must punish them (i.e. whine) until they get it for you.

How come these eggo commercials only show about some selfish fuck (who is like about 10 maybe) but she mostly acts like a 4 year old. They should have these commercials taken down and it would really piss me off if she would say "ooh la la". And why couldn't the dad just ask here to share and he should say that he bought it.
