that's a kit car - the engine sounds wrong - the 959 has a very distinctive and "tame" engine note, muted by the twin turbos, the rear proportions are a bit off, and the seats are not 959 seats, as well as other missing components in the interior. I've spent too much time working on two 959s - and that ain't a 959.
btw, 959s are 100% LEGAL to import into the US. That's a kitted air-cooled 911, nothing more.

I wouldn't let that nasty hooker anywhere near that car.

It was easy to tell that this was not a 959. They are not legal in the U.S

i meant using the 911 as a chassis and drive train doner..but yours is real nice anyways..any chance of u uploading vids of the engine bay?
the window posts are a give away ..if u look at the weather stripping it is remenesent of a late 60s or early 70s 911....
ps.
who makes the kit...looks like it has good production value.

Damn you guys are smart!!!
We built it on a 1997 Corvette Z06 chassis...7 liter LS7, MTI X1 Cam, etc.
We removed the rear seats on the Corvette before doing the body mods. The tough part was getting the stock Corvette coil springs to work with shortened wheelbase of the 959 body. Also, we swapped most of the rear suspension to V6 model Corvette pieces, except for the paddle shift transmission. That remained stock Corvette.

Peter Revson Alfa Romeo in Denver..they had them on the showroom floor until 2006.

its still a pretty nice kit car...if it was me i would just get a late 70s 3.0 911..and do the necessary body mods

We tried but the coil springs on the 3.0 911 were smaller than the original Vette pieces.
Thanks for the compliments. It was a very expensive project.
