@sterlingboss1920 My only question is who exactly frank is? Because at one point in the movie it seems like frank is a hallucination that donnie keeps seeing but then when frank gets shot with his mask off it seems like hes a real person, especially if he was driving the car and the cause of her death. Was he a freind from the past or somthing?

If Donnie never burnt down the pervert's house, then Mrs. Farmer would have never stayed to stand up for him, his mom wouldn't have had to chaperone his sister's dance thing, and Donnie and Elizabeth could have never thrown that party. If they never threw the party, Frank would have never been driving drunk (he was at that party, "Frank was here, went to get more beer" or something like that,) so he never would have ran over Gretchen, and Donnie wouldn't have shot Frank. Damn
