Saw them perform this one summer of '79 in Atlanta. Great band, great song, great singer. I've missed them for years. Even Ronnie Van Zant (of Lynyrd Skynyrd) when asked who was the best Southern band said :That'd be ARS".

They wrote this song about a guy that they all knew. His name was not charlie it was kevin. I know because I use to live down the street from him.

I,ve looking for this song since 1982. A good friend taped it off a radio station in Toronto. All we knew was that it was a Southern rock band. When I found out it was ARS, I looked everywhere for it, and never could get my hands on it. Great post zedoud1, you have just made my day. 8Moody1

Great band, great songs, great singer. Saw Ronnie performing with Trace at the Riverbluff Nightclub overlooking the Tennessee River back in '82. Smooth as glass. Very cool singer. He will be missed but he's already been missed for many years who were big fans for so long.
