The class was seperated. He wasn't made a 'mock slave' because he was black. He was made a mock slave because he was in whatever half of the class. Then his mom goes ahead and says it's all racist. All my money goes to say that kid only said he didn't like it after he saw how his mother OVER-reacted to it. God damn you fucking pussies. Grow up. You felt degraded? Good, now you have a minor fucking idea of how the slaves felt. There was nothing racist here ..only ignorance.

Personally, I see nothing wrong here. If he walked away embarrassed and hurt, then GOOD! The teacher got her lesson a crossed! Now he knows what our ancestors felt when they were being sold and torn from their families. NOW he can appreciate the clothes on his back, that nice house he lives in and the food he's able to eat. The school shouldn't have to apologize for nothing, we want our black kids to learn about our past, well Whoop there it is, in his face.

Ignorance would not be an exuse in child safety; she is still responsible that's is why teacher's are required to complete so much coursework in preparation for these kinds of things. And, being ignorant of people's emotions and feelings is not an excuse either. Only racist people are this insensitive!!!! You need to connect with Jesus. I can tell you are one of those "I don't give a fuck" teachers who come to work just to receive a paycheck and when another teacher steps up his/her game, you get all pissy. @lamarrs You deserve that from that little boy. Every parent white or black should be horrified at this!!!! I am a secondary American History teacher and I would of never dreamt of this in a million years to do any of these children!!! What's next, whippings on the playground? She should lose her licese and never be able to teach again. How could somebody think of reenacting something so evil in a classroom? Were they feeling on the white kids, too? Digusting!!!!!

I'm in NO WAY condoning hurting a child, but if you actually read the full story, you will see this teacher meant no harm.If she did, there would have been a hell of a lot more complaints than this.Now Allina277, for the record, I'm a BLACK guy and far from a bigot, If I were one,I'd judge this teacher before I actually read the whole story and assume racism when its not there.

Now had this little boy been picked as a master, I bet there wouldn't have been a problem, but I'm 75% sure, he was mad because he didn't get to be what he wanted, NOW, this same little boy actually contacted me on youtube because he didn't like my response and said some really adult stuff to me that completley erased the notion of being some sensitive child. @Allina277 Ok, I can see you only responded so you could pick a fight with me instead of a actual debate about this subject that was like last year lol. Now if memory serves me correctly, the class was SPLIT into two groups, the Masters and The Slaves. There was one other black boy in the class and he got picked as one of the masters, so the whole, "The teacher is a racist", is now not logical or she/he would have made both black boys the slaves and all the other kids masters.
