Panasonic release a new firmware, version 1.2 for the GH1 camera, than hours after that took it off the website and then uploaded a new one. This first firmware allowed you to use 3rd party batteries like the one I bought. Take a look at the video and try the new firmware.
This is the link to the firmware: http://www.sendspace.com/file/iokwiu
This is the link to a page discussing the firmware: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat.asp?forum=1041&thread=33069762...
This is the link to the chinese battery @ DealExtreme: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.27951
At the beginning of the video You show the wrong battery when You say "this one came with GH1 camera". You show the Dealextreme BAttery Pack Battery and after that You Show The original Battery and again You say "the one came from dealextreme site".
AND YOU PUT THE ORGINAL BATTERY INSIDE THE CAMERA ! AND YOU CLAIM ITS THE DEALEXTREME BATTERY !
Look Your Video properly before You publish it !

So many assholes saying the same thing... If you have a GH1, take a look at it's battery. It says 1300mAh, then go to the dealextreme website and check what is says on the website 1250 mAh. Now take a look at the video again.
The original has a blue sticker.
There are forums (linked) explaining it.
I returned my GH1. It's one of the worst cameras I've ever had. good luck with yours.

i think you put the original panasonic battery on your camera (see 00:43), it's labeled 'Panasonic'. The 3rd party battery was labeled 'Battery Pack'.
