This is a video to demo the stock and user presets on the Roland JX-3P analog synth. It is by NO MEANS a performance video, it's just to show that the keyboard is working as it should.
Kicking my but for selling this bad boy a few years back. I had the programmer too and while some sounds were crappy by today's standards, others have yet to be matched (in my book).
This was my first synth, a hard decision between this and the Moog Source, And yes, sound editing is easier w/ the programmer which I didn't get. =( I synced it w/ my TR-606 Drumatix and hand clapper to work with the triggers for the sequencer.
@Seqoiabaldy Just get an Alpha Juno, just as good if not better.

@Roelandvinken Yes, but it is slow and tedious as you can only select one parameter at a time and use the single data slider to change it.

So you cant edit and create own sounds with the jx3p without the pg200???
Roelandvinken 1 year ago
No, but it makes making them easier.

The PG 200 is almost necessary to get lovely sounds from this machine!?
