  • No, I couldn't cross. I, along with the women on the other side with strollers, am on wheels...and can't SPRINT across the street, which you would have had to do. I clearly showed both sides with difficulty crossing. My point was to illustrate the downside to adding 309% MORE traffic to this scenario. I live two houses on the other side of this intersection and had to wait ANOTHER several minutes for a window!

  • oh and i still stand by my comment about waiting a few minutes to cross a road. that's common practice in a city.

  • actually @fafhrd68, i know scott is in a wheelchair. your comment unfortunately means nothing to me. i've crossed streets thousands of times in my life and most of the time i'd have to say there were cars in the vicinity. do you not yield to pedestrians when driving your car? i would hope you do. as for scott's "309% increase in traffic," that's about the silliest thing i've heard all day!

  • @gobigscott Hate all the work that is going on down there. It makes the traffic funnel through and causes these issues. I am all about fixing the roads, but why do the work crew have to be bunched up to cause traffic issues?

  • @mklaman way to jump to a conclusion. Deductive reasoning would have worked well with you about maybe who the subject of the video was.

  • please tell me this is a joke? this is heavy traffic? you could have crossed 4 or 5 times in your 1:43 video. FIVE TIMES! If you can't wait 30 seconds to cross the street, you have bigger fish to fry.

  • for years i lived on the 2900 block of floyd and walked up sheppard to cary street five to six days a week without incident. now i'm all for local businesses and keeping big chains out of carytown, but as a resident of the museum district for over 10 years this video suggesting that ellwood is uncrossable seems a bit ridiculous.
