  • to drive a power LED you have to know the current, for a 1W led, the current is about 140mA, you must use a multimeter to get it, with a lm7805 works but you have to use a power resistor

  • The circuit works with a PIC12F629, it drives a mosfet IRF540, conmuting ground, the power supply @ 12V with an old PC SMPS

  • @ghpk learn about led's first and then ask your question again;) You can wire LED's with 100000000Volts, no problem, it's all about the current, not the voltage...

  • how much volt is required by 1W l.e.d, i think they need 3.6volts, where as using 7805 would give you 5 volts, so how are you managing them ?
