I have lived in newcastle all me life, and to be quite honest yes newcastle is a rough place (not all parts but a vast majority) but so is london, ireland, liverpool ect.. The EDL/gremlins/chavs/addicts!!! It happens all over the place!!!

To say the EDL have been very disrespectful to Muslims is generalising. Its like saying Muslims are disrespectful to our war heroes because some burned poppies. What I'm trying to say is that yes, some EDL are out and out hooligans but you cant tar them all with the same brush. Likewise scum Muslims burned poppies but it doesnt mean that all Muslims have that opinion.
IMO if anyone CHOOSES to live here they should live as we do. Our country, our laws. Why try and change us :)
