A compilation video of days spent Sufing, Rolling, and playing in the currents here in Tofino, Clayoquot Sound, British Columbia ( BC ). See a rarely recorded sea foam cyclone. Huge swell crashing on the outer coast rocks. Placid calm waters. Lots of rolling, using a waterproof camera, get underwater shots.

  • Is there a particular reason You use a Greenland paddle? I find it fascinating how much control You demonstrate.

  • @ja001son Thanks Ja001son! Greenland paddle is total personal preferance. I originally carved it as a hobbie, after years of paddling with very expensive carbon fiber european kayak paddles. However, it quickly won me over!!!! The greenland paddle moves intuitively through the water, and it taught me skills I had only dreamed of with a european blade. It sped up my learning curve, and reduced overuse injuries (tendonitus and bursitus in shoulder and wrists). Lots of reasons :)

  • Great video. Question i thinking of buying a dry suit for kayaking down south of Argentina. I was seeing yours. Is it good? what make is it? I was thinking on buying a Kokatat. Thanks a lot looking forwards form more videos.

    thanks and cheers

  • @capkeke

Cheers... its a Kokatat Expedition. Its a pretty good suit... in these parts most people get kokatat. There are a few other brands out there with different price points. Shop around.

  • I can't stop watching this cause I love the music...oh, and you've got skills also... =)!

  • @crazywackyadventure Thanks. I'll tell my friend who made the music that you like it :)

Awesome, Using a paddle you crafted yourself must add a whole new level of depth to the entire experience.

Appreciate the reply, FYI this video just cost me 1700 dollars, I'm picking up a new sea kayak Saturday, I cant wait to rediscover the coast here. Ive been mostly in lakes and rivers, but this video reminded me that there is a whole other world out there.
