  • You can wack better bush at a truck stop than you can with a wallymart machete.

I'm thinking of putting mine in a hot forge and quenching it for hardening.

  • @thegreatwoodlife That might help it some... The second part of the vid i bend it like a rubber band.

  • Chris, good video buddy. Im looking forward to seeing how well the chinamart crap holds up under a good test.

  • Thank you! Hope to do some more bashing this weekend if the weather cooperates.

  • What there was a walmart machete in this video?!? The only blade that caught my eye was the one Chris had on his belt. ;-)

  • HAHHA.. You know what blade that is huh! :)

  • @sammybamby Maybe you should check out part 2 the finished video product before you make stupid comments. This machete is a piece of trash.

  • The local council trim back all the weeds with a machine where I live. Do you not pay local amenity rates?

  • @thegreatwoodlife btw, that was not directed towards the video owner, it was directed towards all Chinamart machete owners.

  • These are OK for green vegetation if you sharpen them. It's amazing how much abuse a cheap knife will take. Tramontinas are a lot better and just as cheap, but the Wal Merde Special will do some yard work in a pinch. Thanks for the vid.

  • very good video !! Yo adoro machete , uso mucho el machete , tengo varios.. dentro de poco subire videos ..Gracias amigo, saludos desde PARAGUAY..

  • u probs have slaves @locke

  • I wrapped my handle first with a cord and also put a lanyard to keep it in my hand, because the handle was so slick. My handle also split in the same place. I am waiting for it to fall off so I can replace it with a wooden one. I found that the metal was to soft. I cut a ten yard path a half a mile long cutting brush at work the summer of 2009. I found that it needed to be a little bit heavier because at times it would bounce instead of cut.
