  • @mzemek1 Syd Dale wrote it. "Artful Dodger." Not part of the NFL FIlms library, but you can find it on Amazon and other mp3 services.

I think the best may have been Csonka and Morris. At the time Morris was one of the elite athletes in the game. Was the strongest player on the team and one of the fastest in the entire league. Always thought he should've played much more than Jim Kick. Csonka on the other hand, was the biggest and baddest back in the game.

  • Morton SUCKED!!!

Yes but it would have been more of a rematch had they met in 71'. By 72' the Colts where a shadow of the team that played in SB V.

I think THIS was also NFL Films best show. Everyone seems to be hung up on it being the sloppiest game.

The closeups of the players, the music, the wording. Is there a better intro for the Unitas to Mackey pas than..." Sometimes the clouds of chance overshadow the plans of man" .

  • Did you know the same two teams who played in Super Bowl 5 met again in the 1972 season?

Dallas won the Super Bowl 5 rematch vs. the Colts 21-0

  • The music that starts at 2:39 is something I've never been able to pin down. If anyone has the name of that selection, please post a comment here.

  • The Over The Hill Gang, one of the very best musical selections of the NFL Films collection. Never fails to electrify.

  • Classic stuff. This super bowl may have been the sloppiest ever played, but this was NFL Films best production of all the super bowls.

  • The Cowboys came up a bit short in this one, but they would win 5 more super bowl titles.
