Of course, in '63, you could still be locked UP (with 500 men - had they thought that THROUGH?) for being gay.

  • This is biting satire.....

    Considering this was 1963 and homosexuality was still considered both amoral and illegal in the UK (laws to decriminalise homosexuality would not take place until four years later in 1967), "That Was The Week That Was" dared to not only poke fun at society attitutes but to also point out the double standard and hypocrisy by flipping the coin at this very issue......
