Paul Potts & Susan Boyle Virtual Duet on Memory (Piano)

There has been much talk about a duet between Paul Potts and Susan Boyle. This virtual duet is as close as it gets! Keep in mind that Potts sang this song in Italian, and Boyle sang it in English, but it is merely a possible example of what their voices might sound together. Memory was not a great song for this, because as far as I could tell, it sounds better when both are singing the exact same pitch, which was hard to accomplish due to their vocal ranges, and the pitch in which they sang the piece.

This was a bit challenging to make. Both of them sang in a different pitch, and I had to find a pitch that they could both share. The way it ends up is that Boyle's voice is 2 pitches higher, and Potts's voice is 2 pitches lower. As the song begins, Potts sings in D Major scale, and Boyle sings in A Major scale. While Potts later switches to sing in E Major, Boyle switches to C major (and later into B major), making this all very confusing!

The reason I did not make the duet last the entire piece is because I would have to make some quite startling changes to the pitch, making both of their voices sound very unnatural.

Only the parts where they "duet" are edited, the rest is original audio.
At the end, I added in a flute part to reflect perfect pitch in comparison to Boyle's voice. I hope you enjoy what I did, and thanks for watching, as always.
