Stoning was a practice done to condemn criminals and that was apart of Greek culture in the NT as well as the cultures before in the OT also as far as the judging issue. We are to judge on the account of righteousness only. Sin is something we cant escape until we are in heavenly bodies so therefore judging anothers actions or deeds is wrong without knowing there heart and perspective.
