Stallone said ring realism occasionally led to trouble in the filming of Rocky II. One of his sparring partners, for example, was former lightweight champion Roberto Duran.
"A few times, it got out of control," he said. "You're sparring and you say to yourself, 'Hey, maybe I can go with this guy.' Then you trade a few shots, and you realize you're an actor again."

@toby099 not true. they don't just make your muscles bigger. they also increase your strenght, endurance, decrease the time you need to rest between workouts, etc.

@quicklearner96 Dude who cares if he's on juice? Its really not a bad thing. Bruce Lee probably was, roids were legal in the 60s and 70s and nobody cared. Either you are great or you are not. Manny is great. Steroids did not make him great, he was born with immense gifts.
