  • Bless your hearts! I am from Kansas, and we experienced a terrible flood in June & July of 2007. My heart goes out to all of those who suffered a loss of anykind. May GOD Bless you all, and you are in the thoughts and prayers of some still soggy Kansans!

  • I hope nobody was hiding in the attic!

  • lol at 0:23 this old lady said "well that took care of that!"

  • I lived across from JB and Millie, but before those times I used to go to the Buffalo River when it was as low as a creek. in 1990 it flooded nearly over the rails of the bridge. I came around the S curve fast enough to hear my tires. After coming around the last curve I saw water and the very tip rail of the bridge. I floored it. I felt the car leave the ground and bump back down repeatedly and at some point the waves behind me seemed to carry me rest the way across. Thank you engineers!jojo

  • The power of flowing water vs. the relative weakness of nails and adhesives.

  • ...lends a whole new meaning to vented roofs.

  • When the river overflows its banks, the houses become mere toys.

  • I need a fourth for Bridge.

  • I was there when that happened...these people did not have flood insurance due to the fact that these were homes built right on the river!

  • If it wasn't for the floodgates at Norfork, the bridge would have been completly swept away

  • My grandpa owns Bill Terrys Fishing Service.

  • I was there, on the bridge! I live in Calico Rock
