Watch in awe as the traumatised Titanic survivor OLD ROSE relives her terrorfying experience of the sinking. Naturally she is distressed, however she still manages to make a brave and stunning performance in the film recreation of that dramatic night she experienced. OLD ROSE won 5 oscars for this performance, although during her acceptance speech she modestly stated 'I was just being myself... Titanic will live with me forever... My heart will go on'.
OLD ROSE turns 118 next month, and is still surviving, just as she survived the titanic. At the end of the film she is just sleeping, not dead.

  • I've heard some rumours about a '3D' version of Titanic, and I guess I should let you all know this is FALSE. I recieved an email from Universal Pictures who have informed me that while they are indeed developing the technology for three dimensional cinema, this in fact won't be ready until 2015 at the earliest. Also when '3D' does exist, they have said they have no plans to re-film Titanic out of respect for Jack and Rose, as they feel it would be unfair to cast actors to play real people.

  • TITANIC IS BETTER THAN AVATAR. THAT IS A FACT. HOWEVER, AVATAR HAS MADE $940 MILLION MORE THAN TITANIC. WE HAVE THE CHANCE TO CHANGE THIS. TITANIC IS BEING RE-RELEASED INTO CINEMAS IN 3D NEXT YEAR TO CELEBRATE THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SINKING OF TITANIC. IF EVERYONE GOES TO SEE IT, THEN TITANIC WILL RECLAIM IT'S CORRECT POSITION AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FILM OF ALL TIME. TELL ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO GET OUT AND GO TO SEE IT. ALSO, PLEASE SPREAD THIS MESSAGE.

  • Exactly how clueless is everybody? Jack and Rose are both fictional characters created by James Cameron. James wrote a fictional love tale that TOOK PLACE aboard the Titanic. Some characters in the movie like Captain E.J. Smith, Officer Murdoch, Thomas Andrews and the guys in the crows nest who saw the iceberg were real people. But not Jack and Rose.

  • I love the older woman shes sooo sweet she reminds me of my Yayai(Grandma).

  • @legoman2047 a lot of it probably has to do with price inflation. a movie ticket back in 1997 was probably a few dollars less than it is now. so multiply that by the millions of viewers and you might find out why it made so much more. idk. thats just my guess. the fact of the matter is that titanic is way better and im sure it moved more people than avatar. how much money the movie made isnt always a good way to rank movies.

  • Your stupid .

  • I will admit, however, that James Cameron could've gotten the names Jack and Rose from the real passenger list, but Jack Dawson and Rose Bukater are both fictional characters in a love story written by James Cameron.

  • "old Rose" was played by actress Gloria Stuart. She died 2 years ago.

  • @raran44 ur wroung jack and rose was real people it was all real i can even prove it soo ya

  • Bruce or.. Ismay as you know him as is no coward.. he is a hero! he saved many people that day, helping women and children and even shouting out asking "are there any women and children still on board this ship!" no one awanserd so he saved himself just like all the other people on that ship.... james cameron didn't know a single thing about titanic... and just assumed this, he has ruined a man's honor!

    What Would You Have Done!?

please click thumbs up to help reclaim a innocent man's Honour!

  • @Josh94Roberts This ship sinked and all they did in avatar is fuck with their tails...
