  • So when the instructions say something like 4-11 sc around, do you put the single crochet stitches through both of the top loop thingies on the previous stitches? Im having trouble with that, all my patterns come out wrong.

  • @Chibiofchaos3 Yes, unless the pattern calls for FLO or ILO (front/Inside loop only) or BLO or OLO (back/outside loop only) you will insert your hook into BOTH loops from your previous round.

  • im new at crochet but ive been a knitter for a while, and im just jumping into these techniques without much background, so im not sure what i'm talking about. It seems though, that the sc in amigurumi is the same as an increase. is that true?

  • Essentially, yes. When you increase you are simply crocheting two sc into the same st. All amigurumi is, is crocheting in the round without joining the rounds.
