Rest in Peace baby Terry Tonka, son of Layla. We will carry on in your name, your mom, Sienna Rachel and Brook and Brook's Lil Angel. Your mom is doing so good, she is so beautiful. Sienna is too and she has a forever home. I love and miss you baby Tonka.

I keep coming back to this. I hope we can make a difference in court for the sake of these and other defenseless animals. Starvation is the cruelest form of abuse. It should never happen in this country. I hope we can see a recovery video soon of Layla and Sienna. Poor Layla. My heart cries for her loss.

Wow, sometimes I feel I am sheltered, then I see this video and realize the world is so cruel. I am eternally grateful to individuals who pick up the cross and make this their mission in life... to help the poor helpness horses or other animals that can not defend themselves against these selfish poor excuse for humans! Thank you to all who rescue, and do a good job at it!

How sad. What is it with people? Poor little fellow

I hadn't been keeping up with BHFER lately ("too busy" is a poor excuse, I'm ashamed to say). When a friend sent me this video of Tonka, I was sad to learn that you have had to endure still another tragedy with another rescued baby, Theresa. I'm thankful that God's loving arms are strong enough to bear you up, along with all the wonderful BFHER volunteers and the beautiful horses who endure hell before finding blessed heaven (on earth, with BHFER's angels, and Above, with the other Angels).
We must keep fighting for and supporting these poor innocent angels. Horses helped build America. We should be ashamed to let this happen to them! RIP Terry Tonka. Keep fighting to live, Dingolay!

Thanks to the loving people at Beauty's Haven, little Tonka knew love and kindness from human beings. His death is beyond heartbreaking - it is totally senseless. The monsters who starved him and his companions and the useless animal control people who left these horses in the hopeless conditions that Beauty's Haven found them in belong in jail for several years. It is hard to comprehend a mindset that would think nothing of starving an animal. These kinds of people must pay for their crimes!
