I shouldn't be alive..

My failed swoop which broke me to pieces..

Injuries: Left broken femur (which led to 2 liters of blood loss straight after impact); compressed / shattered T6 vertebrae; collapsed right lung; cracked skull; concussed heart and every other organ.. The most severe consequence of the crash is the paraplegia or the paralysis of the lower extremities / no more working legs and reproductive organs..

Because of the quick recovery arc of the canopy.. Most of the times during my turn it would level out so quick and lose it's speed too fast.. I thought I'll apply more power, but keep the altitude the same, I was wrong..

Yeah, I understand I'm a skydiver too. I was talking about the really low turn. Sorry the lesson was that hard, glad you're ok though. Keep strong man :)

Thanks for having the courage to post this. We all make mistakes or bad decisions and there is a large amount of luck involved in the severity of the outcome. I have a friend of mine who's had a similar experience under his Vision. There's nothing more I can really say. The only thing I can tell you is to wish you a full recovery. I know, it may sound kind a naive, but there're some many testimonies of wonderful healing around the world. Believe, and get well as soon as possible mate!
