Video of the mechanical spider, taken from opposite McDonalds on Church Street in Liverpool City Centre. La Machine, or La Princess walked the streets of Liverpool for three days in Septeber 2008.

It was cool but a waste of money that should have been spent on the poorer parts of Liverpool. I'm scouse and it annoys me to think of the hundreds of ways that money could have been spent bettering our city.

No offense or anything, but total waste of money, if it could actually stand and WALK on its own, then, i still think its a waste, but it would have been much cooler

@jaivomi I think what we're trying to say is that it's awfully presumptious and slightly greedy to tell somebody else how to spend their money. It's bad enough when the government does it for us. But I can see where you're coming from, though. As cool as it is, it's probably not the best use of resources.

@jaivomi it's not a waste of money because it's not your money, not Liverpool's money. "La Machine " is a french company. So it's french's money. And i think it's not a wasp of money, it's very beautiful and touching
