I totally support the decision to pierce in a studio. Very smart and ,in my opinion, good parenting. Yay for needles, boo for unsterilized earguns.

i applaud you guys. my mother took me to claires when i got my ears done. they pierced it crooked and they got infected, so i think you are great parents for taking her to a studio

I don't get why you're getting criticism for having licensed professionals pierce her ears-- i'd be really happy if my mom knew the risks of guns and took me to a parlor to have it done correctly.
With a gun you could get hep. B + C and even HIV-- no piercing is worth that.

@JUYIE1994 The parents are very smart. It is much more clean and safe to get pierced at a real piercing studio.

@SugarPie9099 I'll tell you who goes to a piercing studio for a little kid, smart parents do. They do not sterilize the guns at Claire's. It is much cleaner and safer at a real piercing studio.

@theoriginacloseprime well ya, but they have a little top part with the earrings in it, and they put that on the gun. it's not like they throw the guns away.

It dosnt matter what way u get it. The child should get a say in what they want.If they want to get it done in a studio then thats fine. If they want it done in claires thats fine.To be honest i dont see the diffrence.

who would use a needle on a little kid. Go to Claires or something so at least it will go by faster and it wont be as painful.

The piercing studio is safer and more sanitary than Claires.
These guys are trained professionals and not high school students working a part time job.

@MsCarowinds They do not sterilize the ear piercing guns. I have seen them use a gun on someone right after using it on someone else.
