  • but the days im not fasting i can eat junk food if i want to? or i have to eat healthy?

and also this intermittent fasting doesnt put your body in Starvation Mode?

and why people with eating disorders cant do this?

    thank you

  • @Kbenhamu Even if you don't change what you eat, you are still better off fasting than not fasting. I think it is very important to eat lots of vegetables and friuts as well. You have to fast for longer for your body to go into starvation mode. I am not sure about eating disorders. That is what the people who sell books say.

  • Hey I am starting alternate day fasting and have a question. I understand the dinner to dinner 24 hour period fast, but wouldn't it be more effective to not eat anything at all one day and three regular meals the next? it seems a little bit like cheating or something.

  • @nob5000 Thanks for watching and I hope you like and stick with the fasting Not eating all day would be more effective to lose weight if that is the current goal. However, that would probably be difficult to maintain as a lifestyle. You also lose the benefit of eating dinner with the family. The research in the many health benefits has been mostly done with 24 hour fasting. If you want to do the all day fast, I would try it and see how you feel.

  • @nob5000 Pigging out before bed can cause problems with too much pressure in the stomach and food going back into the esophagus. I eat at normal dinner time and avoid eating much for at least 2 hours before bed.

  • just to clarify, if you are not intending to lose weight but simply maintain it, you eat more than normally on your eating days, correct?

What advice do you have if for example, on fasting days, one eats nothing the whole day (foregoing dinner)? What about eating breakfast instead of dinner?

  • @SubRosa999 Yes, to maintain weight you have to eat more on eating days. You can eat breakfast instead of dinner. What ever works out the best for you to fast for 24 hours.

  • You must have the mindset, be completely committed to losing weight. Any adult with no other health issues can do it, its easy, free, and will give you real results. I love this video. Thanks for posting.

Not substanitally. Over time the number of calories used is decreased and the body temperature is reduced. This probably results in reduced oxidative stress and may be a big contributor to longevity.

  • Hey! Have you considered - fast abs magic (should be on google have a look)? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my brother in law got great 6 pack abs and lost a truck load of of belly fat with it.

  • how about 6am to 6pm and then drink soup, bread, tea. banana or apple, biscuit for nightcap... and then start again the next day? its my 2nd day.... can i expect good weight loss...?. oh and i drink water with bit of lemon... any good?

  • should I do the training on my fasting day or fed day if you can help me?

  • Is it better to break the fast when you wake up, while your awake, or right before you go to sleep?

  • @patlowry77 thank you very much :)

  • this is for the people trying to lose weight: on your eatday, don't eat what made you fat in the first place. I'm doing this, I eat every 47 hours. It isn't easy, but it works!

  • Great Vid.. very informative. I will be posting it on my site. I will be doing a change in my diet that will incorparate fasting with a weight training stacking method... It seems to be very effective. But, many people have been asking me about the fasting, your video explains it very clearly. Thanks for posting!!!!
