Jeff met Jenn in a class at school,
he thought she was smart, she thought he was cool,
they studied together and chatted online
while their feelings began to intertwine
they went on a date, and something clicked
things started happening really quick
one date lead to another, maybe three or four
they started seeing each other more and more
the times spent together brought them really close
she was like butter and he was like toast
once in awhile, they'd have a fight
but they'd end up making up all through the night
as the years went by, eventually came the day
time for Jeff and Jenn to graduate
neither one knew exactly what to say
realizing they'd be heading separate ways
but they knew their paths would meet again
that they'd always remain the best of friends
Jeff wrote a song, made Jenn a CD
with a note saying, "Hope you'll remember me!"
when she heard the song, she began to cry
tears rolled down from Jenn's left eye
she sat in her room and reminisced
to the song Jeff wrote, that went something like this..
