I just saw this on TV. He cut away from the caught parachute and released his reserve. He landed safely.

@TheWebcamcomedy there is nothing anyone on the plane could have done. They did the correct thing by exiting imediatly.

@TheWebcamcomedy The best thing they can do is get the heck out ASAP. Proper procedures would be to push the jumper out of the plane. If you are inside the plane when your parachute goes out the door you will most likey be pulled into the rear of the door and that will cause the side of the plane to get ripped out. Reason for everyone to bail is to lighten the load on the aircraft and make it easier for pilots to control until jumper can get free. This was at the WFFC, everyone was OK.

@BattleKa they run out of petrol and the plain come down with the man and they all died, i know that was sad, no BIG JOKE i was just joking nobody knows what happened to him but i take a guess HE DEAD FOR SURE

@starsthatfly yes, the parachute was not deployed it fell out.

@Griffin035 everyone got out of plane quickly which is the right thing to do. Parachutes can and have taken tails off planes before and when that happens its a split second between stable flight and complete loss of controll combine that with a full load of skydivers and they would be lucky to get anyone out alive.
