Mt. Pisgah rises majestically within the 2,300 acre Lane County Howard Buford Recreation Area of Oregon. A local treasure, the park and arboretum offer solace and beauty all times of the year to hikers, families on picnics, bird watchers and nature lovers. Many recreational and educational programs are provided on a regular basis, including the famous Mushroom Festival and Wild Flower Festival. The White Oak Pavilion facility hosts weddings, celebrations and other activities to support the community. This video provides a look at some of the stunning scenery and local folklore of the park.

I've lived in Eugene for over 20 years and hiked to the top of Pisgah for the first time about a year ago. I remember my reaction walking into the clearing and seeing Eugene in the valley to my right and Pleasant Hill in the valley to my left. I couldn't believe this was here...
