Fujitsu Siemens Amilo XA 2528

Can anyone help me with this problem..? my Laptop won't turn on...
CD-DVDrom , lights and fan are working but nothing else happens..
i take my HDD and place it into my other laptop and it works.

Oh, and I fixed it! I've put the mainboard in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees celcius. It works ^_^ Not sure for how long though.

@JannickBolten Just one question --- WHERE DID YOU GET THE IDEA of putting the main board in the MICROWAVE..? :O :D

@dzonnyLV The amazing Internet! I knew it worked for GPU's (a friend does the same every few weeks or so), and I searched if it should work for mainboards too. And it does :-) Give it a try, if you still have this notebook.

the problem can be fixed in 2 ways...

1) u can fix the motherboard and chipset for the price of your FSAXA2528

or

2) u can sell uor FSAXA5258 for less than 130$

there's the thing.. 1 out of ~15 times i can run my PPC and do stuff in safemode. i went to a service and they told me that there's something bad happened with motherboard or Graphic card and sent me to Fujitsu Siemens service. so it's not all dead.. :D

I have the exact same problem too with the same computer!

I had this problem and Fujitsu Siemens admitted the problem, the GPU fails. So theres no way to fix this. Only way is to replace the graphics card.
