The master of improvising shred the 'waves'. imao one of the best guitarist I've ever heard.

Guthrie Govan is a guitarist known for his work with the bands Asia (2001-2006), GPS, The Young Punx and The Fellowship as well as Erotic Cakes (a vehicle for his own music). He is a noted guitar teacher through his work with the UK magazine Guitar Techniques, Guildfords Academy of Contemporary Music and currently the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. He is also a former winner of Guitarist magazine's "Guitarist of the Year" competition.

@RiKoOIBG98 they are 2 different styles. In my opinion Steve's style is more modern but I respect guthrie aswell because even though his style doesn't get me as well as Vai, he's very succesfull. You should do the same, if you don't like Vai's play you shouldn't say it's instrumentally below Guthrie's. You can find some real amusing piece of music in Guthrie, and I can do that on Steve just like u
