Why are "white nations" the ones who have to deal with diversity? maybe because other countries are busy dealing with the legacies of colonialism and the continued bias of international institutions (such as the IMF and World Bank, US Farm subsidies) against them, which prevent them from getting ahead.

hold up: really? you're gonna use India-Pakistan partition to criticize diversity? the reason people died was BECAUSE of partition. there was no significant hindu-muslim violence until the migrations, where a million died and left a bitter legacy that endures, and led to the hindu nationalist BJP, as well as a terror-promoting pakistan (which, incidentally, worked out GREAT for them...)

if anything, an argument for diversity rather than seg. I don't even understand how you're arguing otherwise.

also, as someone who just came back from France, the only people who define french nationalism ethnically rather than based on the values of 1789 are the far right racist front national. defining one's worth as a citizen by race is as much at odds with french history as american history.

I will concede, though, that England has real problems with immigration, particularly from Pakistan, and thus i sort of understand the BNP a bit better, though i still think it to be virulent racism.

i'm gonna stop you about a minute in: in the case of black people, brought here by force starting 400 years ago.
