this was a good trade because parent and upshall are doin well

ever since the flyers were swept by the wings in the '97 finals the trades and free agent signing have been so eratic and irrational. and this past year they spent 130 million plus in contracts to get out of last place

the flyers definatly got the better deal tradeing him, foresberg didnt do anything with the flyers, they only got the the first round of the playoffs the whole time he was in philly.
