Your rhubarb will be healthier if you don't let it go to seed. For more about growing rhubarb, please visit http://www.smallkitchengarden.net/small-kitchen-garden/small-kitchen-garden-r...

  • my rhubarb it not red ti green and it huge not sure if there is diff types of rhubarb?

  • @bobinmissouri : There are different varieties of rhubarb. Some grow very thin red stalks, others grow very thick greener stalks. There may be another influence making your rhubarb green: culture. My rhubarb this season has very little red in its stalks, I think because we've had so much rain this year. The good news is, my fist pot of rhubarb sauce, though green, tasted just fine! Good luck!

  • @GulfCoastJaguarundi go get a rhubarb and strawberry pie for dessert and you will want to plant some rhubarb after that...

  • Thanks for the advice! I wish I would of found this a month or two ago, because one of my rhubarb bushes has grown a seed stalk about 4 feet tall. I removed it as soon as I seen this video. Thanks!
