Man there must be tons of used video cameras around, I have one I don't use anymore. Check around, you need to get back up and running.

In the meanwhile, check your power supplies and batteries, sometimes they are the culprit.

you can use a digital camera if it has video taking ability's. that's what I've been doing. it's not the best but in a pinch it will do. how did you smash your camcorder so fuckin bad?
